Several characters including Exal Kressh, Cipher Nine, and Darth Serevin were known to have used this type of ship. This craft was specifically made for covert operations and therefore is not made to fight very often and instead stealth its way past other starships. The X-70B Phantom is a prototype class starship created by the Republic and brought back into use by the Sith Empire. This ship, much like the Defender, has been featured quite a bit throughout all of the Star Wars franchise. This ship is one of the larger options that players can receive out of the bunch, able to hold up to 15 crewmen. The Fury is an Imperial interceptor class starship made for the cold war. This ship is very flexible for uses and has been featured in several different areas throughout all of the Star Wars franchise. This ship was specially made as the Jedi Council thought that having Jedi using standard ships against the Republic wouldn't work well. Crafted specifically for the Great Galactic War. The Defender is a custom-made light corvette style ship for the Jedi Order. This ship made a cameo in the book The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance. It is the best of the patrol craft class ships and was meant to help larger classes of ships like the interdictor cruisers. The D-5 Mantis is a rare patrol craft that was used in the cold war. Other known characters who have owned this type of ship are Jedi Knight Aryn Leneer and Zeerid Korr. This ship made a cameo in the book The Old Republic: Deceived. As one of the largest and most powerful spaceships, it became a favorite of the Republic's special forces division. The BT-7 Thunderclap is an assault ship from the Republic's military.
Finally, if they are a trooper they will receive the BT-7 Thunderclap. If they are a smuggler they'll receive the XS Freighter. If they are a Sith warrior or inquisitor they will receive the Fury. If the player is a Jedi consultant or knight class they will receive the Defender. If they are an imperial agent they will get the X-70B Phantom.
If the player is a bounty hunter they will receive the D-5 Mantis. This ship is entirely based on the class of the player, so they will not get to pick between them. Players can get from the BT-7 Thunderclap, the D-5 Mantis, the Defender, the Fury, the X-70B Phantom, and the XS Freighter. Each spaceship type is based on the class line players take on. There are six different spaceships for players to choose from. These vehicles meant for interstellar space travel can only be received after getting through the Dromund Kass storyline for light side players or the Coruscant storyline for dark side players.
